A real pleasure to be at the DCA Congress last week, in Bamberg, Germany. OPTIMUM was a sponsor, facilitator and presenter at this year\u2019s 3-day event, which brought together trenchless engineers, drilling contractors and suppliers under the theme \u201cEven drillers need rules\u201d, a subject which sparked insightful discussions and lively debates.<\/strong><\/p>\n Together with Nicolas Blanc from RTE, Fran\u00e7ois Gandard and Melvil Ivorra from OPTIMUM presented an engaging case study on the trenchless work involved in the recent Celtic Interconnector project, the first HDVC inter-connection between Ireland and continental Europe.<\/p>\n On Thursday, Alexandre Cambier helped facilitate the \u201cSoil investigations\u201d workshop and Fran\u00e7ois Gandard \u201cPull forces\u201d.
