Bei jedem Schritt der Horizontalbohrung (HDD) (Pilotbohrung, Aufbohren und Einzug) wird eine Bohrsp\u00fclung in das Bohrloch eingespritzt. Diese Sp\u00fclung dient der Schmierung und K\u00fchlung der Bohrwerkzeuge, Stabilisierung des Bohrlochs und vor allem zum Abtransport von Bohrklein aus dem Bohrloch.<\/p>\n

Die Sp\u00fclung wird unter Druck eingespritzt und tritt durch die Bohrwerkzeuge im Inneren des Lochs wieder aus. In der Regel handelt es sich um eine Mischung aus Frischwasser und Bentonit, wobei Zusammensetzung, Menge und Dichte je nach Bodenbeschaffenheit und Standortbedingungen variieren k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n

Es gibt auch komplexere Bohrsp\u00fclungen, beispielsweise aus Polymeren oder Meerwasser, die insbesondere f\u00fcr Landfall-Projekte n\u00fctzlich sein k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n

Direct Pipe erm\u00f6glicht die direkte Installation von Stahlrohren (beschichtet oder unbeschichtet) entlang eines Bogenprofils, \u00e4hnlich wie bei der HDD-Technik. Das an der Vorderseite des Stahlrohrs angeschlossene Aushubwerkzeug ist eine AVN-Mikrotunnelbohrmaschine (TBM). Die erforderliche Schubkraft wird \u00fcber das Stahlrohr \u00fcbertragen und von einem Pipe Thruster von der Oberfl\u00e4che aus aufgebracht. Der Pipe Thruster befindet sich am Eintrittspunkt und greift mit \u201ekreisf\u00f6rmigen Backen\u201c das Stahlrohr in 5-Meter-Abschnitten und \u00fcbt eine L\u00e4ngsschubkraft von bis zu 750 Tonnen aus. Das Stahlrohr wird an der Oberfl\u00e4che hinter den Schubvorrichtungen in einem oder mehreren Abschnitten montiert.
